Medical Appointment Scheduler

Full-Time | 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
$20–$22/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Appointment Scheduler to join our outpatient clinic team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering excellent patient service.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
- Maintain accurate records within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
- Verify insurance information and assist with basic billing inquiries
- Handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical scheduling or related healthcare experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Familiarity with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance and billing fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional demeanor
