Summary
As a Certified Medical Assistant at Serene Nursing Services, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare teams by providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality staffing solutions to medical facilities.
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation efficiently.
Support patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Assist with coding and billing processes as needed.
Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of hospital medicine, anatomy, and medical-surgical practices.
Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care.
Familiarity with coding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
