Medical Assistant

Overview:

Women First OBGYN, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-timeMedical Assistant(MA) to join their growing team. If you enjoy building relationships with patients, working alongside a collaborative clinical team, and helping create a positive patient experience, we'd love to hear from you. 

 

The Medical Assistant will support our providers and patients throughout the clinical visit, helping ensure each patient receives professional, compassionate, and efficient care in a welcoming environment.  

Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter into Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Obtain vital signs and perform preliminary clinical testing as needed
• Prepare diagnostic and treatment equipment for patient care.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Accurately and timely document patient information, test requests, medications, and patient education in the medical record
• Assist providers with procedures as directed
• Maintain appropriate supplies and inventory
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Medical office experience or completion of a Medical Assistant program required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EMR preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred
• Previous experience at an OBGYN office preferred
