Medical Assistant - Boca Raton

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join a professional healthcare team. This is a great opportunity for a patient-focused, dependable medical professional who enjoys hands-on clinical care and working closely with healthcare providers.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

$18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients, obtain health information, and take/document vital signs.

• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR.

• Administer immunizations.

• Assist clinicians with examinations, screenings, and minor procedures.

• Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and clinical supplies.

• Collect specimens and assist with laboratory testing and results.

• Respond to patient inquiries and route clinical calls as needed.

• Follow up with patients regarding lab results and post-visit care.

• Assist with flu clinics and health/wellness outreach programs.

• Maintain medical supplies and support daily clinical operations.

• Provide basic first aid and initial triage during emergencies, as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience

• EHR experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills

• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
