Medical Assistant

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring on a motivated medical assistant onto our team!As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing necessary fittings for custom knee braces. You will educate patients to guarantee that each DME product achieves its prescribed clinical outcome. The target is to ensure our patients are provided with a comfortable and safe experience. ResponsibilitiesReview patient charts to prepare for delivery of braces and set daily goals.Ensure inventory is accurately counted and recorded daily.Participate in routing patients through the practice.Measure and fit prescribed braces.Perform adjustments/re-fittings as necessary.Ensure patient bracing data is accurately recorded. SkillsMedical assistant experience (preferred)Knowledge of medical office systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workSocial perceptiveness and service orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency in MS Office and patient management software RequirementsMedical assistant certification  Benefits:401K with matchDentalVisionMedicalDisabilityBonus eligibility  Medical Specialty:Orthopedic Medicine Schedule:Monday to Friday8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Work setting:In-personOfficePrivate practice Organizational Description:At Arthritis Knee Pain Centers we are committed to providing exceptional, non-surgical, non-opioid, pain- relieving therapy to patients suffering from chronic osteoarthritis of the knee.
