Job Description ---------------

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities -----------------

• Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam. • Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients. • Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner. • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure. • Draw blood and prepare labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing. • Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions. • Respond to all lab messages and call back requests. • Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations. • Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure. • Conduct physician referrals as well as service pre-certifications on an as-needed basis. • Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.

Qualifications -------------

Associates degree, A.A. or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.

Clinic Hours ------------

8am-8pm Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Sat-Sun
