Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our client's clinic in Brandon, FL! This is a temporary contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a large healthcare organization.

Location: Brandon, FL 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM (40 hours/week)

Job Type: 13-week contract 

Pay Range: $21-$23/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and record medical history
  • Take and document vital signs
  • Perform blood draws (venipuncture)
  • Assist physicians during examinations
  • Make patient callback calls for results and follow-ups
  • Support patient checkout and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain clean and prepared exam rooms
  • Update electronic medical records (EMR)

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Basic clinical and phlebotomy skills required
  • Good communication and patient-handling skills

Nice to Have:

  • BLS / CPR Certification
