Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Medical Assistant (MA-C)

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

13 weeks Contract

40 hrs/ week

Work Setting - Outpatient Clinic

Pay - $25 to $29/ hr on W2

Key Responsibilities

  • Support providers with daily clinical operations and patient care activities.
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and assist with routine clinical procedures.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection following established protocols.
  • Complete quality surveys and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment to ensure readiness for patient care.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Follow established quality control, infection prevention, and safety standards.
  • Assist with additional back-office clinical responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential in Washington State.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Experience administering injections and performing phlebotomy.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic testing and outpatient clinical workflows.
  • Strong customer service and patient engagement skills.
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
