Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical procedures and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
  
• Manage patient intake processes, including recording vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
  
• Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and sterilize equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
  
• Coordinate scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence with insurance providers.
  
• Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed medical professionals.
  
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and general health maintenance.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and clinical data.
  

• Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.
  
• Professional experience ranging from one to three years in a medical or clinical setting.
  
• Proficiency in medical terminology, clinical procedures, and administrative office management.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
  
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  
• Commitment to adhering to healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and safety protocols.
