    Medical Assistant (CMA, LPN, or EMT)
    Milledgeville, GA | Full-Time | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
    Three 12-hour shifts per week | Rotating weekends | Front- and back-office cross-training
    Peachtree Immediate Care is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for our Milledgeville clinic. This role is ideal for a caring, dependable clinical professional who enjoys fast-paced patient care, teamwork, and a schedule built around three 12-hour shifts.

    Peachtree Immediate Care is a leading urgent care operator in Georgia. Our mission is to deliver the perfect patient experience so patients can “Get in. Get out. Get better.” Our centers provide walk-in care for injuries, illnesses, minor emergencies, occupational medicine, and family healthcare. Most centers are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
     
    What You’ll Do
    • Welcome patients and help create a professional, caring, and efficient clinic experience.
    • Prepare patients for examination and accurately document complaints, vital signs, medications, and allergies.
    • Assist providers with examinations, treatments, minor procedures, wound care, and patient discharge.
    • Perform lab testing, venipuncture, specimen collection, and other procedures within scope of practice.
    • Administer medications as ordered by a licensed CRH provider and within applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
    • Support radiographic imaging and Occupational Health services when applicable and appropriately credentialed.
    • Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies and equipment, and follow safety, infection-control, quality, and compliance standards.
    • Answer and document patient calls and assist with tests, treatments, referrals, and other clinic needs.
    • Cross-train and support both front- and back-office responsibilities.
     
    What We’re Looking For
    • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
    • LPNs, EMTs, Basic Machine Operators, and Radiologic Technologists must maintain applicable current state licensure or certification.
    • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
    • One to two years of outpatient, urgent care, or clinical experience preferred.
    • Strong patient-service, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a high-volume healthcare environment.
    • Basic computer skills and reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional locations when needed.
    • Ability to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on clinic staffing needs and to transport patients by wheelchair when appropriate.
     
    Schedule & Working Conditions
    Full-time team members typically work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekend coverage. Work may include weekends and holidays based on clinic needs. This role may involve exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Duties vary by training, licensure, certification, and applicable state regulations and are performed under the supervision of a medical provider.
