Newport Children's Medical Group provides expert, compassionate pediatric care for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents, at its locations in Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Laguna Beach.We are currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant Combo in the city of Newport Beach, CA. Experience in Pediatrics preferred.Job Type: Full-Time, Direct HirePay: $23-24 per hourHours: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shiftsFront OfficeGreets and welcomes patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone, addressing or directing inquiries as appropriate.Enhances patient satisfaction and maximizes provider efficiency by scheduling appointments effectively and managing exam room flow.Ensures appointments run on time by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits in advance and preparing required documentation.Maintains strict patient confidentiality while promoting a safe and secure environment.Back OfficePrepare patients for examination by rooming them and obtaining vital signs.Administer injections and perform phlebotomy, as needed.Review and update patient medical histories accurately.Support providers during patient care and clinical procedures.Perform other duties, as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsBilingual Spanish, requiredAt least 1 year experience in front and back office, requiredExperience in Pediatrics, preferredMA CertifiedCPR CertifiedJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 hours/weekBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off401kNewport Children's Medical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Req. #4.7 IV
