Medical Assistant
Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 20 Weeks
Shift: Day | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30-minute unpaid lunch break. No weekends or holidays.
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Pay Rate: $25–$30/hr
Required Qualifications:
- BLS certification — Required
- High School Diploma or GED — Required
- Phlebotomy experience — Required
- Medical Assistant certification
- 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
- Experience working in an OBGYN practice
- Ability to chaperone providers during examinations and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures in an OBGYN practice
- Chaperone providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and routine Medical Assistant duties
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare staff
- Follow safety, infection-control, and patient privacy standards
- Provide general clinical support for daily OBGYN practice operations
