Medical Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, skilled, and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team!

Basic Job Functions: • Room patients, record patient’s medical history, vital signs, and other pertinent information such as test results into the patient’s electronic medical record • Documents lab/test results in the patient record. Call patients with lab results as directed by the provider • Perform injections, collect blood, tissue, and other lab specimens; log and prepare them for testing and sending to the appropriate lab • Set up office procedures, following sterile protocols when necessary. Assist providers with examinations and procedures as directed • Calling in prescriptions for patients as well as lab orders when requested • Stocking rooms and cleaning instruments • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, taking messages, completing referral/order forms • Triage, if needed Requirements for this position include: • Medical Assistant Certification • EMR experience •

At least 1 year of OBGYN experience preferred •

Ability to act as a positive, contributing member of a team with courteous and caring attitudes and mannerisms •

Strong ability to multitask, follow up, and complete all work duties •

Ability to be efficient, productive, and organized in a fast-paced environment

Position hours are M-F 7:45 am – 4:30 pm

Salary is based on experience
