Specific Duties:
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document findings in the EMR.
- Record medical history, chief complaints, and update patient health information.
- Assist physicians and providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections using proper aseptic techniques.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection; maintain specimen logs.
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and hospital pre-admissions.
- Process patient messages, medication refill requests, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain exam rooms, medical equipment, and infection control standards.
- Monitor clinic logs, including refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, and sterilization records.
- Ensure accurate EMR documentation and compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic protocols.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
- Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the
- Proven good communication and customer service skills

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Office Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2
