Position Summary
The Medical Assistant supports the care team by performing routine clinical and administrative tasks in an ambulatory care setting. This role assists with patient rooming, vital signs, documentation support, specimen handling, supply readiness, and patient flow activities under established procedures. Work is performed within scope of practice and under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed provider.
The Medical Assistant works on clearly defined tasks within established guidelines while contributing to high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends
Essential Responsibilities
- Room patients and verify patient information.
- Obtain and document vital signs and other routine clinical information.
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient visits and procedures.
- Assist physicians and licensed providers with examinations and procedures within scope of practice.
- Collect, label, process, and handle specimens according to established protocols.
- Support patient flow by coordinating with providers and care team members.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of clinical areas.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, privacy, and patient identification standards.
- Accurately document clinical information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Qualifications
Required
- Current, unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) credential.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test completed within the last 90 days.
- Experience with EMR documentation.
Preferred
- Two or more years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Experience in primary care, family practice, or urgent care settings.
- Proficiency in: Phlebotomy Medication administration and injections EKG performance

Compensation Range:
$18.00
to
$27.00
The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
