Job Title: Medical Assistant (General)
Location: Marysville, CA , 95901
Duration: 08 weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Start Date: 08/19/2026
Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and room patients for provider visits.
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories.
- Assist physicians with office procedures and patient examinations.
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as ordered.
- Coordinate patient referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
- Perform audiometry and vision screenings as needed.
- Communicate significant patient findings to the provider.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and clinic policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient or clinic setting.
- Recent Epic EMR experience (Required).
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Phlebotomy certification and venipuncture experience.
- Audiometry and vision screening experience or certification.
