Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a medical office and provide quality support to both providers and patients. This role involves a combination of patient care, clinical support, documentation, communication, and office organization.

Part-Time | $15.00–$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Triage patients based on the reason for their appointment
• Accurately and comprehensively update patient charts
• Return nurse calls and assist with patient communication
• Manage the clinical inbox and route information appropriately
• Assist providers during medical examinations
• Prepare, organize, and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Administer medications under the supervision of a physician
• Perform specified laboratory orders and related clinical tasks
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications & Skills

• Approximately two years of experience in the related healthcare field
• Experience with EMR data collection
• Basic understanding of biology and human anatomy
• Understanding of common healthcare procedures and their benefits
• Strong attention to detail
• Planning and organizational skills
• Inventory management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Location Requirement
