    Clinical Team Member – Interventional Pain Management

    Make a Difference in a Specialized Area of Patient Care

    Join OrthoVirginia's Interventional Pain Management team and help patients experiencing chronic pain get back to the activities and lives they enjoy.

    As a Clinical Team Member, you'll work alongside experienced pain management providers and clinical team members to deliver compassionate, efficient patient care. You'll gain exposure to a specialized area of medicine while building valuable clinical skills in a collaborative orthopedic environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Welcome patients and prepare them for visits, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
    • Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms to keep the clinic ready for patient care.
    • Support providers throughout the patient visit and assist with clinical orders and follow-up needs.
    • Educate patients on their care plan and provide clear instructions as directed by the provider.
    • Coordinate appointments, procedures, and other aspects of the patient's care.
    • Respond to patient calls and help triage questions and needs appropriately.
    • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
    • Help manage patient flow to create an efficient, positive experience from check-in through the completion of the visit.
    • Partner with providers and clinical team members to ensure patients receive coordinated, compassionate care.

    What We're Looking For

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a medical, clinical, or healthcare setting preferred.
    • Medical Assistant certification such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ROT preferred.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable working closely with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical team.
    • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.

    Compensation Range for this position:

    $17.98 - $26.97

    Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
