ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.We are currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant in the city of Foothill Ranch, CA. Job Type: Part-TimePay: $24-25 per hourHours: Mon-Fri, 29 hours or less per weekResponsibilities:The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients and visitors in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments to maximize provider efficiency, managing exam room flow, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and preparing required documentation prior to appointments. The Medical Assistant maintains patient confidentiality while fostering a safe, welcoming environment. Clinical duties include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing and updating medical histories, administering injections, performing phlebotomy as needed, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, and supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
