    Medical Assistant

    Location: Loveland, CO
    Duration: 9-Week Contract Assignment

    Work Schedule

    • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Lunch: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
    • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Lunch: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    • Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

    Job Summary

    The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing both front- and back-office support, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support as needed.

    The Medical Assistant will work collaboratively with the center's staff to support efficient daily operations and provide quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and room patients.
    • Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
    • Take and document patient vital signs.
    • Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.
    • Administer vaccines as directed.
    • Perform EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing.
    • Maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
    • Provide front- and back-office support as needed.
    • Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
    • Support health education and outreach activities.
    • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship experience.
    • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills.
    • Strong computer skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment.
    • BLS or CPR certification.
