A healthcare services organization in Texas is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support a high-volume event setting focused on drug screening services in Abilene. This role involves clinical support, accurate documentation, and helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the assignment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Thursday, July 16th & Friday, July 17th
- Hours: 7am to 7pm
- Setting: In-person event setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform drug screenings in a high-volume event setting
- Assist with check-in and administrative support
- Ensure accurate documentation and chain-of-custody procedures
- Support clinic flow and patient throughput
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace
- Handle other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA)
- High School Diploma / GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Ability to work a full shift and remain reliable throughout the assignment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Drug Screenings and/or Occupational Health
- Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments
