Position Summary: Performs clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. Responsible for:

• Rooming patients
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Administering injections and medications
• Performing EKGs and other point of care testing and treatments
• Triaging phone calls and electronic messages
• Performing check out duties

Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Lukes mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous medical assistant experience in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
