Monday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support front-office and back-office clinical operations, provide patient care support, and assist providers with daily clinical needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.

• Front-office and back-office experience.

• EKG experience.

• Point-of-care (POC) testing experience.

• BLS or CPR required; candidates without certification may start pending approval.

• Strong patient communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support front-office and back-office clinical operations.

• Greet and room patients.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.

• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.

• Administer vaccines within scope of practice.

• Schedule patient appointments and answer phones.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

• Provide clinical support to providers and center staff.

• Support health education, outreach, and population-health initiatives.

• Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with patients and staff.

• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.
