Medical Assistant OBGYN Overview: Square Care Medical Group, LLP in partnership with Unified Women’s Healthcare New York is currently seeking an experienced, compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the position of Medical Assistant in our ObGyn medical practice located in Mineola. Square Care Medical Group is the largest women's health organization on Long Island. We offer several specialties with 70 providers across 19 locations, and are a recognized leader in our industry. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the practice runs efficiently. Performs patient care under the direct supervision of a physician. These duties include validating patient identifiers, preparing patients and rooms for examination, measuring, and recording vital signs, drawing blood, and collecting other lab samples. Other duties include scheduling appointments, answering phones, and performing data entry.
