FTE: 1 Shift: Day Schedule: Clinic hours Position Summary Responsibilities: • Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: - Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff - Interviewing patients - Obtaining vital signs - Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments - Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture - Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency - Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers • Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff • Interviewing patients • Obtaining vital signs • Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments • Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture • Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency • Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers • Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include: - Sending and receiving of patient medical records - Facilitating patient referrals - Preparing forms for patients • Sending and receiving of patient medical records • Facilitating patient referrals • Preparing forms for patients Requirements: • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred • Current BLS certification About Capital Medical Center MultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities.
