What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our providers and creating a positive experience for our patients. Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures
• Obtaining and updating patient medical histories and relevant clinical information
• Documenting patient information and dermatologic concerns accurately in the medical record
• Assisting providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures
• Preparing exam and procedure rooms and maintaining appropriate supplies
• Providing patients with provider-directed education and follow-up instructions
• Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Following established clinical, safety, infection-control, and patient privacy standards
• Providing professional and compassionate customer service to patients
• Performing other clinical and administrative duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using computers and electronic systems
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology, vital signs, and clinical workflows
• CPR certification strongly preferred, or ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employment
• At least one year of dermatology experience preferred
• Medical Assistant certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience
