As a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative Float, you'll play a vital role in supporting both clinical and front-office operations, helping deliver seamless, person-centered care wherever you're needed most. Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.
Anticipated Start Date: September 2026
Hourly Pay: $24.55-$28.35

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care from check-in to clinical support by greeting patients, registering and scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers with high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Float seamlessly across front and back-office responsibilities by adapting to changing clinic needs, supporting multiple departments and locations, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support safe, efficient clinical operations by performing Medical Assistant duties within scope of practice, assisting with procedures and laboratory functions, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, coordinating referrals, and accurately documenting care in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate as a trusted member of the care team by communicating effectively with patients and colleagues, promoting culturally sensitive care, supporting workflow and coverage needs, and contributing to Chapa-De's mission of delivering compassionate, community-focused healthcare.

Required Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Medical Assistant program or an active Medical Assistant certification.
  • One year of medical clinical experience or front desk experience
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, preferably with eClinicalWorks.
  • Current CPR or BLS Certificate.
