We are seeking a Medical Assistant or LVN to become a part of the La Peer Pediatric Team. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
Perform and document vital signs, pulse rate, blood pressure, weight, height, head circumference, hearing and vision.
Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock exam rooms with appropriate supplies.
Assist with immunization inventory
Administer injections, draw blood and perform routing specimen collection
Follow daily/weekly/monthly assignments as directed by Practice Administrator
Must be available one Saturday 9 am to 12 noon every five weeks.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Certification from a accredited medical assistance program
Strong organizational skills
EMR experience
Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PEDIATRICS
