Medical Assistant Team Member responsibilities include registering patients, managing appointments, and providing information about the therapy, treatment, and referral options. Responsibilities
· Clean and confirm patient scheduling
· Verify patient information
· Confirm appointments
· Check-in/Check-out patients
· Reschedule/Cancel Appointments
· Explain the doctor's recommendations
· Verify patient's follow-up on doctor's recommendations
· Order patient records
· Answer phones
· Assist with patient intake information
Skills
· Work experience as a medical assistant or similar role
· Experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Teams)
· Ability to learn medical data entry software
· Customer service attitude
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
