Medical Assistant – Upscale Plastic Surgery Office

Location: Woodbury, NY 11797
Schedule: Part-Time – 3 Days per Week
mon and tues hours 8:30-5
Thurs 8:30-5
Wed  11-7
Friday 8-4
Setting: Upscale Plastic Surgery Practice
Pay rate 25 - 27/hr

Phaxis is seeking a polished, professional Medical Assistant for a high-end plastic surgery practice in Woodbury, NY. This individual will work approximately 3 days per week and should have some flexibility with scheduling, as they may serve as a floater to provide coverage when other team members are out.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner
• Answer phones and manage front desk communications
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
• Provide coverage for front office staff as needed
• Multitask effectively in a busy, fast-paced practice
• Deliver a high level of customer service consistent with an upscale medical environment

Qualifications:

• Previous Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Aesthetics, or related medical office experience strongly preferred
• Must be polished, professional, and well-spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong multitasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-end patient environment
• Must have flexibility to provide coverage when needed
