- Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution
- Current BLS Certification
- One year or more of Medical Assistant experience
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize examination rooms for patient visits.
- Check patients in and assist with clinic workflow coordination.
- Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and patient observations.
- Report significant findings and changes in patient condition to providers.
- Perform audiometry and vision screening when qualified.
- Support behavioral health providers during patient visits and assessments.
- Maintain patient recall systems and continuity of care tracking logs.
- Coordinate laboratory testing, referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient transfers.
- Assist with patient scheduling and administrative documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Provide compassionate and professional support to behavioral health patients.
- Follow infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety protocols.
- Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
