Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM (8-hour shift within this time frame)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, documenting clinical information in Epic, and assisting with daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs and medical information.
- Record patient information and clinical documentation in Epic EMR.
- Assist providers during patient visits and support daily clinical workflows.
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Support clinic operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pediatric clinical experience.
- Experience using Epic EMR.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
