As our Medical Assistant, you will be a vital link between our patients and providers, directly influencing the quality of care and patient experience in both primary and specialty settings.

**Job Requirements**
**Required**
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Six (6) months of experience in a medical office/clinic or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant Program
+ Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason, required within 60 days of hire
+ BLS-RQI
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
+ Professional demeanor with a positive, upbeat attitude, and strong communication skills
+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
+ Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative and clinical staff, leaders, patients and physicians
