• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Duration: As per assignment

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to provide front-office and back-office clinical support in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and room patients.

• Obtain and document vital signs.

• Schedule patient appointments.

• Answer phones and assist with patient communication.

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture/phlebotomy.

• Administer vaccines within scope of practice.

• Perform EKG testing as needed.

• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

• Assist providers and clinical staff with patient care.

• Support efficient patient flow and daily clinic operations.

• Participate in health education and outreach activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship experience.

• Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience required.

• Front-office and back-office experience.

• Recent patient rooming experience.

• Recent vital signs experience.

• Recent appointment scheduling experience.

• Strong communication and computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• BLS or CPR required.

• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff.

Preferred Skills

• Medical Assistant Certification.

• EKG testing.

• Point-of-Care Testing.

• Athena EMR.

• Experience in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

• Health education and outreach experience.
