Required Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

Room patients and prepare them for oncology provider visits.
Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry.
Record patient histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures.
Position and drape patients appropriately for examinations and treatments.
Label and process laboratory specimens according to protocol.
Complete chart preparation prior to clinic appointments.
Coordinate insurance verification and authorization requests.
Process patient refill requests and pharmacy communications.
Perform telephone triage and patient follow-up calls.
Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR.
Stock exam rooms and maintain clinic supplies.
Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and high-quality customer service.
Float to other clinic areas as needed.
