About the Role

The Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility – Washington, located in Tacoma. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6:45 AM – 3:45 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:45 AM – 2:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify medical history, and ensure all patient information is accurately updated in the EMR.

• Support healthcare providers during exams, procedures, and treatments to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Perform basic clinical tasks including taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.

• Prepare and room patients for ultrasounds and procedures, assisting physicians or ultrasound technicians as needed. Procedures may include: IUIs, endometrial biopsies, HSGs, OHs, PAP smears, ultrasounds, uterine soundings, and physical exams.

• Manage medication samples and consignment inventory, including stock reconciliation and documentation.

• Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and ensure medical equipment is prepared and functioning.

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care as directed.

• Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals with accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.

• Support inventory control and assist with ordering clinical supplies.

• Provide compassionate, timely responses to patient questions and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program and an active WA state license required.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
• Experience & Skills:
  • Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility:
  • Willingness to cover weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
