Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support, assist with patient care and clinical procedures, and support daily clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.

• EMR experience.

• Strong communication and computer skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with patients and staff.

• BLS or CPR certification required. Candidates without BLS/CPR may be considered for a pending start with approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and room patients.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform blood draws and phlebotomy/venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Schedule appointments and answer phones.

• Provide front- and back-office clinical support.

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.

• Support daily clinic operations and provide additional clinical support as needed.
