Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role based in Venice, FL. The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations, including rooming patients, recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting the provider during patient visits, managing medical records, coordinating patient follow-up, and maintaining exam rooms and equipment in a clean, organized state. The role also involves handling basic front-office tasks such as checking patients in and out, confirming appointments, and responding to patient inquiries. The Medical Assistant will follow clinical protocols, support quality and safety standards, and contribute to a respectful, efficient patient experience.

• Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including patient intake, vital signs measurement, and support during examinations and procedures.

• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand, document, and communicate clinical information.
• \n
• Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including familiarity with scheduling, patient flow, and basic front-desk processes.

• Candidates should possess Patient Care skills focused on empathy, professionalism, clear communication, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• \n
• Candidates should possess Medical Records skills, including accurate charting, electronic health record (EHR) use, and adherence to privacy regulations.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
• \n
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is beneficial but not required, depending on experience.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and staff and to interact with patients in a professional, inclusive manner.
