Description
Duties: - Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records - Take patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Prepare patients for examinations and procedures - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens - Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of a medical assistant program or certification preferred - Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures - Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
