Dermatology Medical Assistant – Part-Time

Location: Woodbury, Long Island, NY
Pay: $25–$27/hour

We are seeking an experienced and polished Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a beautiful, upscale specialty practice in Woodbury, Long Island.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant with Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic, or closely related specialty experience who thrives in a professional, patient-focused environment.

The practice can vary significantly in volume — some days may see approximately 10 patients, while busier days may see up to 40 — so we're looking for someone who is energetic, organized, adaptable, and able to maintain exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Certified Medical Assistant required
Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic, or closely related specialty experience required
Strong clinical Medical Assistant experience
Excellent verbal communication skills
Polished, professional, and well-spoken
Comfortable working in an upscale patient-care environment
Able to efficiently manage changing patient volumes and priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and medical histories

• Assist providers with Dermatology and specialty procedures

• Prepare examination and procedure rooms

• Maintain appropriate clinical supplies and equipment

• Accurately document patient information within the EMR

• Provide professional and compassionate patient support

• Assist with patient flow throughout the practice

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment

• Work closely with physicians and staff to keep the practice running efficiently

Available Office Hours

Monday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

This is a part-time position working 3 days per week.
