Medical Assistant/ Xray Technician Mt. Baker Pain Clinic located in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician to join our growing medical team. We specialize in the treatment of back, neck, and joint pain, sciatica, cancer-related pain, and other chronic pain conditions. Our mission is to help patients regain control of their lives through individualized, patient-centered pain management plans.If you are dependable, adaptable, and passionate about patient care, we would love to hear from you.Primary Responsibilities:Operate C-Arm imaging equipment during procedures in our surgery centerPrepare procedure rooms and maintain strict sterile techniquesSterilize medical equipment and operate autoclaveRoom patients and assist providers in clinicCreate, update, and maintain accurate patient PHI within the EMRDeliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic communicationWork collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to support patient flowQualifications:Dependable and punctualAble to work independently with limited supervision while anticipating workflow needsAdaptable, flexible, and team-orientedStrong interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of human anatomy is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to wear a lead apron (approximately 15 lbs) while standing for a 10-hour shiftEducation & Competencies:High School Diploma or GED requiredMA or NA Certification through the Washington State Department of Health (Must be willing to obtain X-Ray Certification through on-the-job training)Strong computer skillsExcellent vocabulary, spelling, and punctuationPrevious CMA or CNA experience preferred (Willing to train the right candidate to obtain MA-R)Job Details:Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hourExpected Hours: 40 hours per weekBenefits:401(k) with employer matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:10-hour shifts4x10 scheduleMonday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PMWork Setting:ClinicIn-personExperience:EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Join a team that values compassion, teamwork, and excellence in patient care, where your skills truly make a difference every day.
