We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Case Manager/Referral Coordinator. As a Case Manager/Referral Coordinator with a Medical Funding company, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of patient referrals to medical providers. This vital position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience working with medical providers and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient referrals between medical providers based on patient medical needs.
- Work with multiple providers to make sure patients attend their appointments.
- Request and review medical records from providers to assist in continuing medical care for patients.
- Make funding decisions on the approval of treatment for providers.
- Work within the company's software for all workflows.
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge and experience in the medical field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to read and interpret medical records.
- Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- This is an in-office position.
