NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:
Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help them realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.
Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is looking for a Medical Certification Specialist 2 to conduct surveys and/or assessments to verify that the services provided to individuals by providers, facilities, waivers, and/or long-term care programs comply with federal certification, state regulations, and established state standards.
Applicants with registered nurse licensure are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
A current Louisiana license in a health services field, health regulation field, or social services field plus three years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
A bachelors degree plus three years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
A masters degree in a health services field, health regulation field, or a social services field plus two years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services.

Location: Developmental Disabilities Office
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
