Position Description

Join our growing healthcare content team as a Medical Content Writer, where you will create accurate, engaging, and evidence-based medical content for healthcare professionals, patients, pharmaceutical companies, and digital healthcare platforms. You will collaborate with medical experts, clinical researchers, marketing teams, and regulatory professionals to develop high-quality scientific and healthcare-related content while ensuring compliance with medical writing standards and industry regulations.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, reader-friendly content.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research, write, edit, and proofread medical and scientific content for various healthcare audiences.

  • Develop evidence-based articles, blogs, white papers, case studies, newsletters, brochures, website content, product descriptions, and educational materials.

  • Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, accurate, and engaging content.

  • Review clinical studies, research papers, treatment guidelines, and medical journals to ensure content accuracy.

  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, researchers, medical reviewers, and healthcare professionals to validate medical information.

  • Create content for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations.

  • Ensure all content complies with FDA, HIPAA, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Support medical marketing initiatives by creating promotional and non-promotional scientific materials.

  • Develop Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials and patient education resources.

  • Maintain consistency in medical terminology, grammar, formatting, and editorial style.

  • Optimize digital healthcare content using SEO best practices where applicable.

  • Update existing content based on new clinical evidence, product updates, or regulatory changes.

  • Participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for new healthcare content initiatives.

  • Meet project deadlines while managing multiple writing assignments simultaneously.

Experience

  • Experience creating content for healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or medical device organizations.

  • Experience reviewing and summarizing clinical literature and scientific publications.
