Medical Director, Clinical Development, Oncology

We are seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Sciences to join our Oncology team, supporting solid tumor drug development, including studies in ovarian cancer. In this role, you will design clinical study concepts, oversee the medical and scientific supervision of clinical trials, and lead the Clinical Team to deliver high-quality program milestones, while collaborating with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and Therapeutic Area Program Managers.   • Location: Tarrytown, NY
  • Travel: 10% to relevant conferences

Discover your role:

  • Define clinical trial-related goals and objectives
  • Conduct literature and database research to inform trial design
  • Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and the Therapeutic Area Program Manager
  • Contribute to program team meetings, scientific advisory boards, study steering committees, and data/safety monitoring meetings
  • Lead and supervise the Clinical Team to deliver high-quality program milestones on schedule
  • Build and maintain relationships with key study investigators

This role requires:

  • MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience in industry or the academic research setting
  • Oncology clinical fellowship training with translational and/or clinical research experience strongly preferred
