• Lead beyond your own caseload: Help guide medical decisions, reinforce thoughtful clinical standards, and identify opportunities to improve patient care.

• Stay connected to medicine: Continue practicing small animal medicine, including wellness care, preventive medicine, and surgery.
• Have a voice in the practice’s direction: Partner with practice leadership on clinical priorities, team effectiveness, and ongoing medical improvement.
• Earn for your clinical work and leadership: Receive a base salary plus quarterly production, with no negative accrual, along with a dedicated Medical Director stipend.
• Maintain flexibility: Discuss scheduling options that support your professional priorities and responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on leadership role, not simply a title added to your clinical workload. You’ll help establish expectations for quality medicine, encourage consistency in clinical decision-making, coach fellow veterinarians, and work with practice leadership to address challenges and opportunities.

You’ll also continue seeing patients, allowing you to lead through your own medical judgment and day-to-day collaboration. The aim is to give you meaningful influence over both patient care and the team delivering it.

• DVM with a Florida license or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous leadership experience preferred
