Seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead a small animal practice as Medical Director. This role combines clinical excellence with leadership, mentorship, and oversight of medical standards while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the veterinary team and maintain high clinical standards.
Mentor veterinarians and support staff.
Guide medical decision-making and improve clinical workflows.
Support daily hospital operations and foster a positive team culture.
Provide preventive care, diagnostics, and chronic disease management.
Perform general soft tissue surgeries, including spay/neuter, mass removals, and foreign body surgeries.
Deliver dental procedures, including extractions with radiographic support.
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Maryland.
Minimum 3 years of small animal practice experience.
Strong skills in general soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
