The Leadership Opportunity

As Medical Director, you'll play a central role in maintaining clinical standards and developing a positive, high-performing veterinary team while continuing to practice medicine.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Providing clinical leadership across the hospital
•Setting and maintaining high medical and patient-care standards
•Maintaining an active medical and surgical caseload
•Mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians
•Supporting technician and clinical team development

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
•California veterinary license or eligibility to obtain prior to starting
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong general practice medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery skills
•Orthopedic experience is welcomed but not essential
•Previous experience as a Medical Director, Lead Veterinarian, Chief of Staff, or senior clinician preferred
•Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities
•Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
•Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
