What Youll Do
- Process specimens for blood bank testing.
- Perform ABO/Rh testing, antibody screening, and antibody identification.
- Complete antibody typing using the tube method.
- Perform immediate-spin/IgG and electronic crossmatches.
- Perform indirect Coombs testing.
- Support routine and specialized compatibility testing.
- Prepare blood components for transfusion and support transfusion needs for pediatric and adult specialty services.
What You Need
Required- ASCP-MLS certification.
- Ability to float between Methodist, University, and Riley locations.
- Availability for every other weekend and one holiday if it falls during the assignment.
