What Youll Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience in blood bank procedures and testing
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume trauma settings
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in laboratory science or specialized areas
- Experience working with advanced lab instrumentation
- Familiarity with hospital trauma protocols and emergency testing procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- AS or BS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a blood bank setting
Other Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT)
- Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts), including nights and weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for work-related reimbursements where applicable
